HWAP / FIRST ENERGY COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS / EPP

 

HWAP 
Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP)
Services provided may include:  

  1. A household audit 

  2. Heating system inspection 

  3. Attic and sidewall insulation 

  4. Electric baseload analysis (review) to address light and appliance efficiency.  

Program available in Marion, Morrow, and Crawford Counties 

Services are available to homeowners and renters at/under the established 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. *An address is only able to receive Weatherization services once.

Community Connections – First Energy The Community Connections Program  
Services provided may include: 

  1. In-home audits and install-appropriate electric energy efficiency measures to reduce electric usage. 

  2. May include replacement of refrigerators, freezers and ranges.  

  3. Customers receive information on how they can reduce their electric use and improve their home’s efficiency. 

Program available in Marion, Morrow and Crawford Counties  

Households that have a total household income that is at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. To be eligible for the program, customers must also have 1 month of electric usage at their current address.

Electric Partnership Program (EPP)  
Services provided may include: 

  1. In-home audits and install-appropriate electric energy efficiency measures to reduce electric usage; 

  2. May include replacement of refrigerators and freezers.  

  3. Customers receive information on how they can reduce their electric use and improve their home’s
    efficiency. 

Program available in Morrow, Allen, Hancock, Hardin, Putnam and Wyandot Counties

Households that have a total household income that is at or below 150% of the federal poverty guidelines. To be eligible for the program, customers must also have 12 months of electric usage at their current address, have an annual electric baseload usage of at least 5,000 kWh, and live in the service territory of American Electric Power or FirstEnergy (Ohio Edison). *Customers may only receive this service once per address.
